How does it decide?
In order: if the game is already in your library, you own it. If you own three or more games with the same genres that you have played for under an hour, play those first. If today's best price is more than 10% above the all-time low, wait. Otherwise, go for it.
What counts as a similar game?
A game that carries every Steam genre of the one you are considering, ignoring business-model labels like Indie, Free To Play and Early Access. Action + RPG matches Action RPGs, not every action game.
Where do the prices come from?
Current best price and all-time low come from IsThereAnyDeal data for the games we track. When a game is not tracked, the verdict is based on your library alone and says so.
Do I need to sign in?
No. Paste a public profile URL, custom Steam URL, or SteamID64. Your Game details privacy setting must be Public.
