Roll a year. Pick a game you own. Build the squad.

The die decides which year you draft from โ€” the rest is whatever is actually in your library. Five slots, two re-rolls, one eight-match league, and a link you can post.

Frequently asked questions

What is the Steam squad builder?+

It turns your own Steam library into a team game. A die rolls a release year, you pick one game you own from that year, and you place it in a slot whose genre it fits. Five slots later your squad plays an eight-match league phase.

Do I need to sign in?+

No. Paste a public Steam profile URL or ID. Only the public list of games you own is read โ€” no password, no Steam sign-in, nothing is stored.

Where do the ratings come from?+

Each game's rating is its Steam player review score, falling back to Metacritic where Steam reviews are thin and to a stated neutral 60 where neither exists. Difficulty comes from the average achievement unlock rate: the rarer a game's achievements, the higher its difficulty.

Is the result random?+

The match engine is seeded from the five games in your squad, so the same squad always plays the same league. That is why a shared link shows exactly the result you saw rather than re-rolling for whoever opens it.

Can I share my squad?+

Yes. Every finished squad has its own page and preview image, built from the five app IDs in the link. Nothing about your account or profile travels with it.
