Your year in games

Steam Wrapped: the year your library actually had.

Hours, top genres, the games you quietly abandoned, and a persona built from the numbers — not a quiz. Free, and it never asks for your Steam password.

Hours, and where they went

Total playtime for the year, split across the genres that actually took it. Usually not the ones you would have guessed.

The games you bounced off

Titles you started and quietly dropped, with the hours you spent before walking away. The least flattering card, and the one people share most.

Your top genres

Ranked by hours, not by how many you own — the difference between what you buy and what you play.

A gaming persona

One label for the shape of your year, derived from the same numbers rather than a personality quiz.

Backlog movement

Whether the pile grew or shrank over the year. Most piles grow.

A shareable card

The summary as one image, ready to post — the numbers are yours, the card carries nothing else.

What it needs, stated plainly

Wrapped is the one thing here that needs an account. It reads playtime history, which has to be synced first — a public profile alone is not enough. Sign-in goes through Steam's own OpenID page, so no password reaches this site. If you would rather not connect anything, the backlog calculator and the squad builder work on a public profile with no account at all.

Frequently asked questions

Does Steam have a Wrapped like Spotify?+

Valve publishes Steam Replay around the turn of the year, which covers playtime and a few highlights. GamersPilot Wrapped is a separate, independent summary you can open at any time, and it reports things Replay does not — the games you started and dropped, backlog movement across the year, and a persona derived from your hours.

Is GamersPilot Wrapped free?+

Yes. Wrapped is part of the free tier. It needs a Steam sign-in because it reads your playtime history, but there is no card and no trial.

Do I have to give you my Steam password?+

No. Sign-in happens on Steam's own domain through OpenID. GamersPilot receives your public SteamID and nothing else — no password, no email, no payment details.

Why does Wrapped need an account when your other tools do not?+

The backlog and account-value calculators only need the public game list, which any public profile exposes. Wrapped is built from playtime history over time, which means the library has to be synced to an account first.

Can I see my Steam year in review before December?+

Yes. It is generated on demand from your synced library rather than released once a year, so you can open it in March if you want to.
