For ChatGPT, Claude and other assistants
Ask your AI assistant about your Steam library
GamersPilot runs a hosted MCP server. Connect it once and your assistant can read a public Steam library and answer with real numbers โ no install, no API key, no password.
Server URL
https://api.gamerspilot.com/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP ยท Authentication: none ยท Read-only
How to connect
- 1Claude: Settings โ Connectors โ Add custom connector โ paste the server URL โ Add.
- 2ChatGPT (paid plans): Settings โ Apps & Connectors โ Advanced settings โ turn on Developer mode โ Create โ paste the server URL.
- 3Any other MCP client: Add a remote (Streamable HTTP) server with the URL above. No authentication.
Then ask, in your own words
Give your public Steam profile link once; the assistant picks the right tool.
- โMy Steam profile is steamcommunity.com/id/yourname โ what should I play tonight from my backlog?โ
- โShould I buy Elden Ring, or do I already own something like it? My Steam profile is โฆโ
- โHow much is my Steam library worth, and what would it cost at all-time-low prices?โ
- โWould my most-played games run on a Steam Machine?โ
- โHere are three Steam profiles โ what would we share in a Steam Family, and what did we buy twice?โ
- โHow hard is Hollow Knight to 100%, and is it at its lowest price right now?โ

Frequently asked questions
How do I connect it?
Add a custom connector (remote MCP server) in your assistant and enter https://api.gamerspilot.com/mcp as the URL. In Claude this is under Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector. There is nothing to install and no key to paste.
Does it need my Steam password or an API key?
No. Every tool takes a public Steam profile URL or SteamID64 and reads only what that profile already shows publicly. The server is read-only and has no sign-in.
What can I ask once it is connected?
Questions like: what should I play from my backlog, how much is my Steam library worth, should I buy Elden Ring or do I already own something like it, would my games run on a Steam Machine, and what would my family share on Steam Families.
How is it different from other Steam MCP servers?
Most Steam MCP servers run on your own computer and need your personal Steam Web API key. This one is hosted, so it also works in assistants that only accept a server URL, and it returns verdicts (owned, play first, wait, go) as well as raw data.
