Steam Backlog Calculator

See how many Steam games you have never played, your total playtime, and highly-rated games hiding in your backlog. No sign-in required.

Game details in your Steam Privacy Settings must be Public.

What this result means

Measure the backlog first. Then decide what to play.

The calculator separates games with no recorded playtime from the games you have actually opened. It also surfaces highly-rated untouched titles, so the result is useful rather than just another vanity statistic.

For a ranked next-game recommendation, connect Steam and let GamersPilot score your own library with visible, deterministic rules. The same inputs always produce the same order.

Frequently asked questions

How does the Steam backlog calculator work?+

It reads the game list and recorded playtime exposed by a public Steam profile. Games with zero recorded playtime count as unplayed, and the backlog percentage is unplayed games divided by total owned games.

Do I need to sign in with Steam?+

No. Paste a public Steam profile URL, custom profile URL, or SteamID64. The calculator does not ask for a Steam password or create an account.

Why can’t the calculator read my library?+

Your Steam profile’s Game details privacy setting must be Public. A public profile with private Game details still hides the owned-game list and playtime.

Does zero playtime always mean I never played the game?+

It means Steam reports zero recorded minutes for that title. Old offline sessions, shared libraries, removed games, and activity on another platform can make the real history different.

Is it safe to paste a Steam profile URL?+

A profile URL or SteamID64 is a public identifier, not a password. GamersPilot reads only the public library data needed for this result.
